Why Teen Camp?
Located in the Pocono Mountains of Milford, Pennsylvania on 1,250 wooded acres, NJY Teen Camp (TAC) is a place that provides high school teenagers with summer experiences that not only challenge them, but also give them the opportunity to make incredible connections.
Teen Camp prepares you for who you want to be as you enter young adulthood. Focused on leadership development through travel, leadership opportunities, and trainings, our camp experience provides teens with the building blocks they need to succeed in their future endeavors including college, a career, and adulthood. Here, we believe in giving our campers a voice through a summer program designed for high school students, offering them ownership, responsibility, and the opportunity to grow. Teens, it’s time to make a difference!
The TAC Goal
Teen Camp is a place for campers to thrive while receiving a clear structure and set of boundaries but enough independence and flexibility to explore new interests and have the opportunity to step up and take on positions of responsibility. We challenge our TAC campers to grapple with new ideas, venture outside of their comfort zone, and gain an appreciation for helping and benefiting others. It is our hope that campers leave completely inspired by their experiences.
Our Program and Activities
The Teen Camp program is far more than just a camp elective schedule. While campers have access to daily choice activities and special programs, their summer experience is enhanced through travel, community service volunteering, and leadership development opportunities.
Health & Nutrition
At Teen Camp, the safety and physical well-being of our campers and staff is our number one priority. We provide nutritious and well-balanced meals that teens enjoy eating and have a resident health staff that oversee the medical care of our campers throughout the summer.
