A Day at Teen Camp:
Daily schedule – Sunday through Friday
- 8:45am – Wake Up and Clean Bunks
Good morning – time to start a new day! After tidying your area, check your bunk’s chore wheel to see which daily duty you have assigned. Team work pays off as with each daily inspection, when bunks are performing consistently well, special prizes are awarded.
- 9:45am – Breakfast
Enjoy a cold or hot breakfast to start your day from our great variety, all served cafeteria style. Help yourself to tea and coffee during all meals.
- 10:45am & 11:45am – Activity 1 and Activity 2 (Internships for TAC II Campers)
Choose from a wide array of elective options in sports, arts, sciences, adventure training and aquatics. Don’t miss out on today’s special TACtivities, providing extra elective options just for Teen Campers.
For TAC II campers (entering 11th grade) you will report to your internship and the supervisor you work with to continue your role assisting in the camp area that you chose.
- 12:35pm – Rest Period
Take this time to relax in your bunk, catch up with your friends and send emails from the computer room, all while enjoying snacks put outside of the office.
- 1:45pm – Lunch
Enjoy a full salad bar with 10-12 items, plain pasta (whole wheat & white), bread, peanut-butter & Jelly and fresh fruit. These items complement our hot entrees. Meals are a great opportunity to check in with your counselors and hear the announcements from the camp supervisory team of special trips or projects that are available to sign up for.
- 2:45pm & 3:45pm – Activity 3 and Activity 4
Choose from a wide array of elective options in sports, arts, sciences, adventure training and aquatics. Don’t miss out on today’s special TACtivities, providing extra elective options just for Teen Campers.
- 4:45pm – Athletics
Check in at the Basketball dome for line-up and to hear what athletic choices there are for today. Participate in a wide range of traditional sports options as well as other alternative choices including jogging, Kan Jam, Yoga, Circuit Training and many others.
- 5:45pm – Recreational Swim
Enjoy the pool and cool down with your friends and counselors. Alternatively, feel free to play pick-up games of sports or other low key activities around the bunks.
- 6:45pm – Shower Time
Use this time to shower down after a busy camp day. Feel free to also make use of the computer room for sending emails during this time. Enjoy snacks provided outside of the camp office.
- 7:30 – Dinner
At dinner we offer a full salad bar with 10-12 items, plain pasta (whole wheat & white), bread, peanut-butter & Jelly and fresh fruit. These items complement our hot entrees.
- 8:45 – Evening Program
One of the highlights of the day. Enjoy an exciting evening put together by the counselors and senior camp leadership. This might include bunk contests, pool parties, camp fires, music, arts or challenge based events as well as featuring special outside guests.
- 10:00 – Schmooze Time
Wind down at the end of the day by chilling out with your friends and counselors before curfew is called.
- 10:30 – Curfew
Time to go back to your bunk and either get an early night’s sleep or play games or listen to music quietly.
- Midnight – Lights Out
All bunks turn their lights off.
